Desmond Cooney, PhD

Dr. Desmond Cooney teaches International Marketing in the IMBA program at ISM. Cooney is Founder & Managing Director of Axis Financial Consultants, a financial services company based in Paris, France. He has worked as a financial broker for over 20 years and specializes in the area of offshore banking, and international pensions for expatriates.

He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He currently serves as Assistant Dean and Professor of Marketing at ISM.

Cooney received a PhD in Business Administration from ISM in 2010, an MBA from Open University, Milton Keynes in 2000, and a BA from Jordanstown University, Belfast, Ireland in 1992.
