PhD alumnus Khaled Zayed and PhD candidate Rebekah Placide were quoted in an article on TechXplore about the modernization of the American electoral system. In the article titled “Blockchain a stronger option for American election modernization,” the author quotes Zayed and Placide’s article which originally appeared in the International Journal of Technology Enhanced Learning. In their article, Zayed and Placide suggest that a blockchain might be viable in the U.S. voting system. Read the full article here.
