We are happy to announce that ISM will be hosting its 2nd annual Business Pitch Competition on Saturday, November 17, 2018 as part of the ACBSP Region 8 Fall Conference.
What is it?
An exceptional opportunity for entrepreneurs to present their business plan to an audience of industry leaders, potential investors, and an influential panel of judges for the chance to win a 1000 € prize. This competition provides a rare occasion to get recognized for an innovative business idea, to gain valuable feedback, and to network with contacts that could potentially bring the idea to fruition.
Who is it for?
The Competition is for all entrepreneurs who have a start-up idea or project they wish to showcase. It is open to ISM students and alumni, as well as to local, regional, and international entrepreneurs.
Where will it be?
La Maison d’Amérique Latine, 217 Boulevard Saint-Germain, 75007 Paris, located in two eighteenth-century mansions, is a prestigious site for meetings, events, and cultural activities. Regarded as a crossroad of cultures, the historic venue is in a quintessential Parisian neighborhood close to many of the city’s treasured landmarks.
How do I apply?
The Pitch Competition focuses on transformative and innovative business models. We are looking for ideas that create and capture value through new technology or processes.
Business plans must be submitted in ENGLISH and should be a maximum of 12 pages of text. The plans should include the executive summary and key financial data. Detailed spreadsheets and appendices should follow the text portion of the plan and will be limited to 6 pages. In total, the maximum number of pages should be 18.
