Professor Ken Wong was one of the recipients of the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities' Award of Excellence for his dedication to his students, the local community, and the broader postsecondary education sector during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Wong was recognized for co-developing and releasing a free version of experiential place-based online learning tool Presentria during the pandemic, enabling the delivery of lectures outside the classroom.
