In 2005, while I was living in Shanghai, I decided to pursue a doctoral degree to further my passion for teaching. Before enrolling at ISM, I did extensive research on accredited institutions, exploring which programs would offer the best combination of location flexibility and robust academic curriculum. There was only one program that fit my criteria, and that is how my journey at ISM began.

As I looked back into the program, I am very satisfied that I made the right decision. The program fulfilled the criteria I set but, more importantly, I was surprised at the diversity of the doctoral candidates who were in my program. I am a firm believer in diversity driving innovation, creativity, and fosters collaboration and cooperation, and that is what I gained most from the program.
