ISM’s Dean César Baena and Professor Michael Neubert co-wrote an article for the London School of Economics (LSE) European Politics and Policy blog. In the article titled “The European state has become a modern Leviathan,” Baena and Neubert argue that “the growth in EU bureaucracy raises questions about how taxpayers’ money is being spent” and moreover “as European politics has become more technocratic, decisions have become more distant from voters, aiding the rise of anti-establishment politics.” Read the full post here.
